A History of Growth…and Chilling Out

Did you know Hanan Products has two massive freezers set at a temperature of minus 10°F and a giant refrigerator as well? We didn’t always have this large of a storage capacity. In the beginning, we started with one small refrigerator and one small freezer. Now, seventy-five years later, Hanan Products has increased our freezer space three times over to accommodate our growth. Our first refrigerator/freezer expansion came in 1978, doubling the size! Over the years we’ve expanded even more and now have quadruple the cold storage space.

During the 1978 expansion, Hanan Products eliminated the two small units to construct one large refrigerator/freezer combo unit. This helped with efficiency and the overall flow of warehousing.

In the 1980’s, with the continuing popularity of Hanan Products’ superior quality toppings, more freezer space was needed. Our freezer was expanded again, and a new refrigerator was built. Hanan Products was fortunate to acquire additional property near our existing facility and built a much-needed enormous freezer there too.  

We ensure that the proper temperature of all units is maintained to guarantee the excellence of our products. All thermostats are monitored 24/7 from an electronic device. 

Freezing our whipped toppings gives the product an extended shelf life. Customers can always have extra topping in the freezer – running short will never be an issue.

As you can see, in our 75 years, we’ve grown, adapted to change, and innovated not only products but our manufacturing facility.
